CASE STUDY

Behind the Transformation: A Case Study on ASAP’s Website Redesign Journey with W4B

Client Profile

Project Objectives

The Process

Strategic Planning

We began by carefully reviewing ASAP’s present website to discover issues and potential long-term improvements in website performance across devices.

We set up a number of consultation conversations with the ASAP team to learn more about the business’ objectives, core values, and target market. This information guided the development of a mobile-friendly redesign and helped with our strategic planning process.

Collaborative Engagement

Collaboration was key to our strategy. We collaborated closely with ASAP stakeholders throughout the project, requesting feedback at every stage of the process. This joint strategy ensured that our solutions were in line with ASAP’s vision and priorities, and every aspect of the job (visual and otherwise) reflected the brand guidelines efficiently.

Regular feedback sessions also helped us to improve our designs and implementations, resulting in a website that was closely related to the brand identity and values across the board.

Meticulous Execution

Following a clear roadmap, we implemented solutions with accuracy and skill. Our team of designers, developers, and project managers worked hard to overcome ASAP’s technical challenges and improve the performance of the website.

From improving form functionality and simplifying the navigation menu, to prioritising mobile usability and user experience, every part of the website upgrade was carried out with meticulous attention to detail.

Technical Fixes and Optimisation

We addressed a range of technical challenges to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of the ASAP website across multiple devices. This includes compressing images, fixing mail and DNS difficulties, and providing reliable backup and hosting solutions.

Simplified Content Management

Our team redesigned the layout of the blog page, introducing relevant filter keywords and categories for easier discovery and SEO optimisation. We also adjusted graphics for faster loading and increased engagement, ensuring that ASAP’s content was always accessible and appealing to users.

Interactivity and Customisations

In order to improve user engagement, we incorporated interactive features such as automatically revolving carousel boxes and expanding biographies of team members into the ASAP website. Following conversations with the ASAP team, we introduced customisations specific to the client’s needs and brand identity.

One of these changes was the off-canvas menu that replaced the previous navigation bar, designed to improve functionality and aesthetics and provide a simpler cross-platform browsing experience.

With simple access to tools, information, and networking opportunities, the website has become a significant tool for ASAP members and stakeholders across the board.
